With Valentine’s just over and barely time to catch our breath- it’s straight into preparations for Mother’s Day. This year Mothering Sunday falls very early; just over a week from now on the 6th March. So don’t forget the date and for gift inspiration come and visit us at our shop in Bruntsfield where we have the most beautiful flowers, plants and candles. Or visit our online shop.
AND we have a wonderful new team member to introduce: our talented and creative Principal Florist Amalia. She has worked at the top level in Sydney, Paris and over the last few years for a leading Edinburgh florist and she will have a major influence on Snapdragon’s development and direction over this year and beyond. Look out for some great images and biographies of the whole team which will be on our website very soon. As usual, we’ll work with our favourite photographer Corinne Macdonald aiming to capture yet more beautiful flower images, which will be just as much the focus as getting mug shots of the team!
2016 has got off to a great start and we’ll continue our work with the fabulous G&V Hotelfollowing the success of our unique Christmas installation; doing weekly flower designs for public areas of the hotel as well as flowers for special events and hotel guests.
We’re also collaborating with the Apex hotel group and events venue Ghillie Dhu and look forward to working with them over the coming months starting with wedding fairs at the Apex Waterloo Place on Sunday 13th March and at the Ghillie Dhu Rutland Street, the following Sunday 20th March. So if weddings are on your mind please come along and visit us and these fantastic venues.
