Freight, founded by mother and daughter, Helene and Adele Adamczewski and based in Lewes, East Sussex source items designed and created within the UK in collaboration with wonderful UK artisans. They create timeless, elegant and useful household goods based on their core values of provenance, quality, durability and functionality.
We have scented candles made from 100% soy wax poured into beautiful earthenware pots with lids made in Stoke-on-Trent. There are two fantastic fragrances at the moment, Vetiver & Oakmoss and Rosemary & Wild Flowers, each burn for around 55 hours and cost £34.00. And when the candle is finished the pots make fantastic storage jars.
Also in stock are the most gorgeous earthenware candle holders, again made in Stoke-on-Trent, with a matt glaze in wonderful, soft sludgy colours; blue/black, eggshell and pale grey and cost £15.00 each. A standard dinner/taper candle fits perfectly; either in a toning soft shade or contrast with a vivid wax colour.
